Hospitals across South Carolina are working together to transform their approach to care so that every patient receives the best and safest experience possible. In this video, you will visit three Palmetto State hospitals that are making dramatic differences in their communities. In the Midlands, a hospital is using Rapid Response Teams to immediately assess and treat patients in distress. In the Upstate, a hospital is working to eliminate preventable, potentially life-threatening infections. And in the Lowcountry, a hospital is decreasing the time to treatment and increasing survival rates for heart attack victims.

These examples are just three of many efforts taking place across our state. All South Carolina hospitals are involved in a number of ways to improve the quality and safety of care for each of their patients, every time.
